The i2I Research & Innovation Institute, along with SFU VentureLabs and the Technology Licensing Office at SFU, are excited to announce SFU Innovation Week 2026.
This year’s Innovation Week is a free three-day event taking place at SFU’s Burnaby and Vancouver campuses from October 13-15, bringing together researchers, entrepreneurs, companies, policymakers, and industry leaders from across Canada’s innovation ecosystem. Through panels, startup showcases, and guided lab tours, attendees are able to connect with innovators in quantum computing, healthcare, biomedical innovation, AgTech, and civic innovation.

Tuesday, October 13 | SFU Harbour Centre
Connect with researchers, industry leaders, and innovators while exploring new ideas and perspectives.
Wednesday, October 14 | Segal Graduate School of Business
This day is where research becomes reality, centred on the Innovation Pitch, where participants showcase innovation ideas.
Thursday, October 15 | SFU Burnaby Campus
This day features three exciting panels on how research, partnership, and policy come together, industry exhibits, and lab tours.
